WHY PRIORITIZE LONG TERM HEALTHCARE

Yes. I turned 60 in 2016! And in 2019 before I turned 63, I got Hospitalized Twice in a span of just a month!!! The first cause was IGA Nephropathy, and the Second one which is just about two week after was Pneumonia! The HOSPITAL BILLS run to about 300K Pesos total !!!

I thank God first and foremost as I got sick last year and not this year!!! I thought I am dying for the doctors couldn't find what's wrong with me. In spite of the cost of checks and lab tests, they could not pin point what caused my sickness. Imagine if I got sick this year. You see, I was hospitalized April of last year. If it was this year same time frame, with the new medical protocols in the hospitals, I would have suffered alone in my hospital bed, and could have doubled my hospital bills!

I also thank IMG! Just a throwback, about a month before I decided to be hospitalized, our President; Dr. Joen Delas Penas was the one who encouraged me to go through the needed thorough tests and checks. And when I got in the hospital, it was the President of Kaiser HealthGroup ; Dr. Leah Yulo, who gave her personal assistance and presence in Makati Medical Center. IMG and KAISER really cares.

Normally, a senior guy like me, out from the corporate life would have to shoulder the medical costs. Normally,  for regular HMO, it is only available for 60 years old and below. But not with IMG. I qualified for the HMO which was able to COVER ALL THE MEDICAL BILLS!!! And in case that was not enough, I have my LONG TERM HEALTHCARE to cover me. 

This is my personal experience of how good IMG and KAISER is to their promise.
